Socially responsible digitalisation

Among the many digital tools we can use, it is important to understand which are the most useful for our activities as youth workers and what their impact is, in order to make conscious decisions about what to use, when/how to use it, and for what purpose. Digitizing activities should not be restricted to adding a digital tool or component. As youth workers we should understand what positive impact these methods will have on the participants (this should be the main reason for including digital innovation in the activities) and what impact they can have on the surrounding environment, locally and even on a larger scale.

It is a channel from which to map, learn and find digital tools, work processes, and ways to innovate.

Digital Learning and its environmental impact

The leaflet “Digital Learning and its environmental impact” provides an insight on digital learning tools and its environmental impact. It was created in the framework of the Erasmus+ project “Beyond the tales”. It is one of the first attempt to clarify and disseminate at EU level the connection between digital learning tools and related environmental impact, to provide guidelines and inspirations to youth workers.
